Yes, Florida is more south, but this will be my first time in the real SOUTH, so I expect some surprises. After my side trip to Florida, I'll get a place here for the next few months. But I'll be taking another side trip to Louisiana for a couple of weeks in March, so I've extended this stop to 4 months. I'm hoping after Norton shows me around Fort Pulaski, he can show me around the rest of Savannah, Georgia, which is in reach, as well as Charleston and Columbus, South Carolina.
